Ages: 8-11  12:00pm-3:00pm

Ages: 12 and up 11:00am-2:00pm

$25.00 non refundable registration fee

If you cannot make auditions please contact the studio to set up an evaluation

All dancers must come prepared

Hair must be slicked back in a clean bun

Proper dance attire to show the body lines (leotard, leggings, tights, sports bra)

Proper shoes (jazz, ballet, half, shoes)

No jewelry

Ages 5-7 Try out information

  • Single Pirouette RT/LT (we will teach)
  • Splits RT/LT/M (doesn’t have to be completely down)
  • Jazz walks
  • Leaps RT/LT (we will teach)
  • Jazz combo across the floor  (simple combination)
  • Center ballet combo (simple combination)
  • Dancers Showcase (where dancer can show off any talents they have)

  • Single/Double Pirouette RT/LT
  • Splits RT/LT/M
  • Leaps RT/LT
  • Chaine turns
  •  double stag jumps
  • kick combo including fan kicks
  • Jazz combo across the floor
  • Center ballet combo
  • Improv (this is an opportunity to showcase their talents)
  • Acro Showcase Front and Back walk overs

  • Double to a Triple Pirouette RT/LT
  • Splits RT/LT/M
  • Leaps RT/LT including Russians and Reverse leaps
  • Chaine turns
  • Turns in second
  • Calypsos
  • kick combo including fan kicks
  • Jazz combo across the floor
  • Center ballet combo
  • Improv (this is an opportunity to showcase their talents)
  • Acro Showcase front and back walkovers, aerial etc.

Read Below for Competition Levels and Commitment Information

Initial team placement will be emailed no later than May 23rd.  Some athletes
may receive two level placements.  In this case, they will be asked to attend
practices for both teams during the summer until level placement is determined.
Please note, there is no guarantee of a higher-level placement.

The audition process also applies to veteran athletes. Returning team members are not guaranteed a spot on the same level team as last year. Other factors, such as prior season attendance, overall participation, and demeanor can also affect team placement.
